Get Involved with Safe Babies
Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Visitation Rooms are integral spaces for parents and children to have weekly family time. First3Years works to ensure that these spaces are friendly, safe, and age appropriate to promote comfort and care for all who visit. These environments require continuous upkeep and new toys and books for it to remain a safe and inviting place for children and families.
Volunteer
DFPS Room Volunteers can sign up to clean, organize and paint rooms on a monthly basis. Volunteer groups are needed in teams of 2-6. Opportunities are available on Saturdays and some evenings due to family confidentiality.

Donate
Donations of new infant & toddler toys & books, as well as diapers, wipes, powder, changing table liners & pull-ups are needed quarterly. Donate items by contacting jhayes@first3yearstx.org to coordinate a drop off, shop our amazon wish list or donate funds through the link below.

Sponsor
6-month sponsorship: $2,500
Includes: Volunteering to clean, organize, and paint 4 times, and we will utilize funds to stock needed items for the rooms for 6 months.
​
12-month sponsorship: $5,000
Includes: Volunteering to clean, organize, and paint 8 times, and we will utilize funds to stock needed items for the rooms for 12 months.
