ERH Integration in the NICU

First3Years is working in collaboration with the following NICUs to support their teams in providing support that is early relational health focused.

Relationships in Practice

Explore how practices like skin-to-skin care and scent cloth exchange support long-term outcomes for NICU infants and families. This training offers actionable strategies to identify opportunities for integrating early relational health (ERH) into daily routines, fostering meaningful connections in every interaction.

Communication and Connection

Create stronger connections with families and provide relationally focused care by building empathy and communication skills. Explore the critical role of empathy in fostering trust and resilience, practice active listening and effective communication strategies, and work through case studies to navigate complex experiences of families in the NICU.
